This is fantastic! Would love to try this out too, but unfortunately I'm a software developer with no soldering skills :-)
Thanks for the KiCAD files! Can I get a company like JLCPCB to assemble, or is hand soldering still required for some components?
The idea of connecting the Pi to an ISA backplane really appeals to me. So the Pi emulates an 8088 CPU, and can interface with peripherals like sound cards, network cards, video cards etc on an ISA bus.
Could the FrankenPi be used in "reverse" like this?
