More robustness against network errors #48

Make the upper level routines of the applications more robust against low level errors. The application must not crash in these cases. The application should act in an appropriate way to the errors.

When the DSL line is disconnected, a requests.exceptions.ConnectionError is raised. ("Max retries exceeded with url: ... Network is unreachable")
When the server returns faulty XML a lxml.etree.XMLSyntaxError is raised.
