Opps - I merged this but then I realised - the reason it's like that is cos people who log into the console of their payment processor rely on it to identify what payment is what - I think there are two use-cases

Ouch - just realised this causes a test fail - I probably should never have merged this as it removes a feature that can be really useful. But, for now my focus is just on the tests
