Try issuing a MAIL command first #4

Some servers will not accept STARTTLS before a MAIL command, it seems. Example: pinskyfamily.org.

Mail Server Log entries available on request.

Also, tests to remaker.com are failing, as well as to any Godaddy forwarders.

Mail serverResultsmtp.secureserver.netError: Could not connect (timeout) mailstore1.secureserver.netError: Could not connect (timeout) http://www.checktls.com/ seems to show that it works.

Some services have banned the current probe ip, due to excessive resets (and an overly aggressive scanning routine). I've had to ignore this for now, since it'll resolve itself when I launch the new scanning engine, on a new server/ip.

Is this still an issue? It could be what I'm running into with mail.acme.com. I get "Error: The server rejected our test" but I don't see any specific reason in the mail logs on my end.

When I put in test@remaker.com, it works, but if I just put in remaker.com it fails. So, it works with an email address but not the raw hostname.
