Crash when opening Snes9X menu #549

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Load ROM
2. Play for 1-2 minutes
3. Use Home button on Wiimote/Classic Controller to open Snex9x in-game menu

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

Emulator either crashes and shows me a code dump or freezes

Does this issue occur on SNES9x for Windows 1.52? If so, please report the
issue on the Snes9x forum.

What version are you using? On GameCube or Wii?

Latest, 4.2.1 IIRC, on Wii with softmodded firmware 4.2 English.

Are you using the official build (from the downloads page or auto-update)?

Yes

Please provide any additional information below.

Problem does not occur on 4.2.0.  Ran emulator with IOS 202 v1.1. Tried various 
ROMs.
