Improve detection input of the L and R pressure sensitive shoulder buttons on the gamecube controller. #621

Describe the enhancement desired or suggested change:

Improve detection input of the L and R pressure sensitive shoulder buttons on
the gamecube controller.

Please use labels and text to provide additional information.

The gamecube's control pad L and R shoulder buttons are pressure sensitive. In
order to register input from either the L or R button one must press it all the
way down. Would it be possible to register input on a half press? This would
enhance gameplay on games that require quick response like the hard punch/kick
on SFII, and blocks on Mortal Kombat etc.

Many thanks for a great emulator

Gamecube or Wii version? If it's Wii, using the classic controller will make
using R/L easier (better sensitivity).

Both versions.

The gamecube version would benefit the most as the only controller option is
the gamecube pad.

For the wii version, as good as the classic controller / pro is, a lot people
refuse to pay the extra bucks because:

1. they already have gamecube pads
2. impossible to play with in gamecube mode
3. no rumble.

Thanks
