Boktai still does not work #172

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Open the "Boktai: The Sun is in Your Hands" ROM
2. Within minutes you will get an error message from the game.
3. It says "The Solar Sensor is broken."

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
I want to be able to play the game without interruption.

What version are you using? On GameCube or Wii?
Wii;Homebrew Channel; VBA GX version 2.0.7.

Are you using the official build (from the downloads page or auto-update)?
The game runs incorrectly in both the auto-update and the update from the
downloads page.

Please provide any additional information below.
I know that a lot of people an forums and other places are saying that this
game is fine, however I am using an un-patched version of the game, and I
still cant get it to run. I am playing the game with "Match Wii Controls".

QUOTE: http://wiibrew.org/wiki/VBA
"You must not use patched versions of Boktai roms! (Except for the
translation patch for Boktai 3, which is highly recommended). The patches
are for old emulators that don't support the solar sensor. VBA GX and
NO$GBA support the solar sensor natively, and the patch will stop them from
working."

Is there anything that I or you can do? Is the game not working for
everyone, or just me?

I just installed VBA GX 2.0.8 and it is still not working. Once again, I am
POSITIVE
that the game is un-patched.

Well then can't there be a menu for the RTC in the next update?
Do they know how to fix this issue?(or can't I disable the clock or something
so that I
can play it until it's fixed?)

I think this could be fixed by mapping [more sun] to up on the c-stick and
[less sun]
to down on the c-stick.

I don't think so. That would give the same effects as the patch, which also
does not
work. But, maybe (and hopefully) you're right.
(By the way, I tried it and Boktai still doesn't work on the new version 2.1.2)
