Cannot load some roms on 2.0.8 Gamecube Version #252

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Automatic error during VBAGX initilization

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Roms Listing expected. instead, choose a device (SD, USB or DVD) menu that
does not work.

Does this issue occur on VBA-M r781
(http://vba-m.ngemu.com/vbam/vbacompiles/msvc2008/VisualBoyAdvance781.7z)?
If so, please report the issue to the VBA-M forum.

What version are you using? On GameCube or Wii?

Yes, official build

Please provide any additional information below.
Same bug on last gamecube revisions of fceugx 3.1.0 and snes9xgx 4.1.2, so
probably caused by one of those changes :
* Revamped filebrowser and file I/O
* DVD loading in GameCube should work now (untested and unsupported)
Older versions does not have this problem and recent snes9xgx 4.1.8 is working.

these versions are out of date *and* not supported. only snes9x gx has been 
updated 
for gamecube.
