Suggestion: show books in a series not available in my country #12

A lot of times when i search audible for a series it will hide books not available in my country.

However, i have discovered that my friends abroad can gift them to me. 😈

Sooo... is there any way to show these books, possibly with a different border or a warning?

I know audiblehero is doing this locally... sooooo it might be quite the effort, if not impossible. Buuut... yeah, might be worth a try.

I think we had something like this earlier, searching in incognito mode. What happens then is that a lot more books become available. Another way to purchase such books is (or at least was) to change location of your credit card. However I stopped doing this, and so I removed the feature as I didn't want to support it.
It would be possible to introduce this again, however users must be able to opt in because update would take more than twice as long to run.

Opt-in is totally fine by me.

And i did not wish to start dealing with false information and such. Too much of an hassle and i might risk getting my account suspended or ceased... Big NOPE there.

But now that i found out my friends can gift me books, i want to see if i can "exploit" this before somebody at audible finds out... though i don't really think it is supposed to be: 1) illegal (it's not much different from a friend in canada buying a book found only there and sending it to me via package) 2) worrysome.

Most of the books i buy are in english (not my mother language) so the fact that i cannot buy them because somebody here in italy wants to sell me the translated italian version... when i want the english version exactly because i do not wish to buy the translation. Aaaand... to top it... audible is not allowed selling the italian translation...

...yeah. That to me sounds like a bad selling policy, not really audible's fault. But still.

Lots of editors here in italy buy the exclusive rights to series that they do not even finish translating. I got the temeraire series (By Naomi Novik) locked off by one such deal. Only the first 3 books were ever translated, but the guys are holding onto the rights and not allowing me to buy the rest of the series in a different language...

That feels wrong on so many levels.

That said. Gifting should be legal, and it is allowed. So i want to use it before somebody pokes their nose and prevents me to actually read a series i like because they want to sit on an incomplete egg.
