Just wanted to report that the introduction of sipdroid-v2.4 broke a
functionality which had worked in all previous versions since at least 2.0:
When calling sipgate.de's echo test number (10005), you can (after a greeting)
record your own voice and have it played back (after pressing '#') to check the
audio quality.
This had always worked flawlessly, but after upgrading from v2.3 to v2.4, you
can hear your own voice only for fractions of a second, then sipgate already
plays the "Good bye" message (normally played after playback of your recording
is finished), and disconnects the call (a usual after vthe "Good bye").
Downgrading to sipgate v2.3 re-produces 'normal' functionality again.
The issue exists regardless of any settings like STUN, codex, mic or earpeace
gain, or any other thing I tried in Settings.
htc Wildfire, Android 2.2.1, direct sipgate.de profile (not via PBXes).
