No output for Discord media/notifications (--disable-features=AudioServiceSandbox doesn't work) #127

Hi, I'm trying to route the output from Discord to REAPER, but only the audio from the calls is received, everything else seems to be muted (media and notifications).

Audio from VC: imagen

Audio from media: imagen

My settings: imagen imagen

I've already tried adding " --disable-features=AudioServiceSandbox" to my Discord shortcut but it still doesn't work. Every other application seems to work fine. What else can I do besides using Discord on browser?

Windows version: 10 Pro (test-signing mode) REAPER version: v6.47 SAR version: v0.13.2

I have the same problem, although I don't use SAR's per-application audio routing rules... I sent a support ticket about it to discord as well since I feel like there's something weird going on with audio output selection (although I can't reply to their emails because google's mailer-daemon says it's "unsolicited" -.-)

if I get any updates I'll post here

So discord support wasn't very helpful (for now, I'll email them more info as I encounter it) but I found that if I start discord first, make sure sounds work using default device (my focusrite) and then starting reaper to enable SAR, discord will ask to change to new device and then audio works in embedded/notifications in discord and it's using the correct audio device which goes through SAR too... still no clue why it fails to do this if it's started after SAR is up (or has been started once since restart). Hopefully this helps someone but if not, try removing the per-application rules for discord as it should be able to just select correct device in settings.
