Alright here's something that I have found: it turns out that my endpoint is completly glitched and there is no way to fix it, I have created a second one that works just fine, though.
It appears that even if you delete an endpoint it's not deleted from the registry, Issue 15:
Good to know, thanks!
I have a STRANGE issue that occurs now and then and is unfortunately an issue right now.
I do weekly livestreams and play guitar at the top of each livestream. I run a licensed version of Reaper and have the Syncronous Audio Router installed to send the main out from the SARS output endpoints (using the ASIO driver for my Behringer UMC404HD interface of course) to Windows which is then captured in Streamlabs OBS as an audio input source on my scene. If you use OBS or Streamlabs you know what I mean
Crazy thing is that every now and then, (once every few months maybe at most) even though I haven't touched ONE THING in ANY application to change this audio routing, Windows stops receiving any audio from the output so, in turn, Streamlabs isn't getting any audio as well. WTH?!
I feel like I've tried everything, uninstalled SARS, reinstalled SARS (latest version), reconfigued Reaper, played with the Windows properties for the SARS audio output (Windows does see these SARS outputs AND inputs as soon as I launch Reaper and when I close Reaper, these disappear from Windows so Windows IS seeing it.
So frustrating as I use this a LOT and never make changes to the configuration that worked the day before and it just stops working. Has anyone else ever experienced this? Do you have any suggestions I can try? There are no wrong answers, just people helping people. Thank you in advance for your help.
Have you tried creating a new endpoint with a different name? This could very well be the same problem than what I had. I believe creating a new endpoint with a different name will let you continue streaming without having to go in the registry with SYSTEM permissions (which is annoying to do) to delete your endpoint. I could be wrong, though.
That being said, you could start using ReaRoute along with the obs-asio plugin instead of SAR if this pisses you off too much. You'll have to start using OBS Studio instead of Streamlabs OBS, though. You can get in touch with me on Discord @ ayygurl#2175 if you need help with setting all of that up.
Finally, have you ever noticed any delay on your livestream? I had major delay issues back when I was using my UMC404HD. This isn't because of SAR, though. More info here: https://github.com/obsproject/obs-studio/issues/2801
Thanks for the prompt response ayygurl! I have created new endpoints multiple times, different names each time. I may check into your solution and appreciate the offer to assist! I'd like to stay on SLOBS as I have a lot of scenes setup and would be a pain to recreate in OBS perhaps.
I don't think the issue is with SLOBS but with the SARS audio router. Ill try to add some screenshots in a bit. You're the best

I guess you could still try deleting all of them in the registry to see if that helps, but I can't guarantee you that it'll work.

You might be able to export your scenes and then re-import them in OBS Studio.

You're right, it probably isn't. What I meant is that you'd have to use OBS Studio if you were to start using ReaRoute along with the obs-asio plugin. That is because, afaik, you cannot install the obs-asio plugin on Streamlabs OBS.
I have tried deleting/recreating my recording endpoint and uninstalling/reinstalling S.A.R. but nothing does it. My endpoint doesn't get any audio from Reaper and no error is being shown.
Any help is appreciated, thanks.
