Adding playback device crashes Ableton Live 10 #98

I'm running a fresh install of SAR with the ASIO4All driver with two playback devices, "Applications" and "Games", and one record device, "DAW Mix". Everything works as long as I'm only using those devices. When I try to add another playback device called "Discord" so that I can feed my Discord output to Ableton, I can get as far as hitting the Apply button and closing the SAR dialogue before Ableton freezes and then crashes. This happens every time no matter what title I give the device. Trying to add the device while Ableton is not running using a program like ASIOConfig results in Ableton crashing on startup. This means that I also need to use ASIOConfig to get rid of the new playback device after it crashes Ableton to be able to load Ableton again. Once I remove the device, everything returns to working condition. I can add as many record devices as I want without any problems.

Also happening to me, is this project dead or something?

I've run into this in a slightly different way. #20 seems to be related. So far the latest pre-release on appveyor https://ci.appveyor.com/project/eiz/synchronousaudiorouter/build/artifacts seems to have fixed it. Though that one requires test signing.
