Please bring back NSBX provider #7

First of all, thank you for this great addon, the best and most needed of all streaming addons in Stremio platform. JaMovies used to retrieve just one link, but it's the perfect one: Vidsrc.to, a reliable 1080p online stream, with a vast movie and series catalogue.

But a month ago or so, A GAME CHANGER came up. You added another provider: NSBX. The BIG DIFFERENCE of this one is that it offers 4K links online (in recent content, of course). That is 4K https stream, not depending on Torrent seeders, something that LITERALLY didn't exist on Stremio before. And is extremely hard to find on ANY other platform or apps.

Basically, Stremio and all other similar apps offer 2 kind of links: Torrents up to 4K (with the downside that when title isn't THAT popular and there are few seeders, movie stream stops to buffer all the time) and Https Online streams (this ones are more reliable and don't depend on seeders but they only offer links up to 1080p).

The BIG NEWS of NSBX (I knew about it when you added it to JaMovies) is that links to 4k online streams, not torrent based. I don't even know what NSBX sources are, but I noticed that all new movies releases have 4k online links. I even watched a few and the stream is perfect, reliable and buffer-less.

But at that point, bad news came up. The adding of NSBX somewhat made your JaMovies addon a little slower to load, and sometimes it failed to load completely. If you refreshed that Stremio movie page several times (forcing all addons to reload) at one point JaMovies finally appeared. But a couple of weeks ago, JaMovies finally stopped loading at all (somebody else opened another Issue about that).

Since 2 o 3 days ago, JaMovies is fixed and loading fast as before, BUT it doesn't provide NSBX links anymore. So I suppose that adding NSBX was what finally broke the addon and you fix it by reverting it back to when it only offered Vidsrc.to. That made the addon work fine again, as it does now. But we lost the 4k links that NSBX offers. And as I said before, that is the real game-changer: 4K online links, not depending on torrents.

So my humble request is that you try your best to bring back NSBX links. Note that when the results state "NSBX - Unknown" the links are broken and so useless. The good ones are "NSBX - 4K", "NSBX - 1080p", etc.

I hope you can fix the addon to properly scrape NSBX provider again and I'm really looking forward to it. Thank you very much again for your time and work.

Have you heard about Showbox/Superstream? Cloudstream used to have that, but it was not maintained. However, I've seen Flixclusive using it right now. It has 4K links. Can you consider looking into it?

Hi Ejatapibeda, thank you for your quick reply and for taking my feedback and suggestions into consideration. It's great to hear from you and knowing that JaMovies is actively mantained and will get better soon. So you didn't take out NSBX provider on purpose, it's their API that is down. It's strange because the main page nsbx.ru is online, but api.nsbx.ru seems to be down. So when their API is up again I hope NSBX will appear on JaMovies as before. Maybe I didn't understand well but on another closed Issue you said: "I'm using package not api for nsbx". But it seems that the NSBX API is needed anyway.

As they say in their web, NSBX is just "a bridge" between users and online links for streaming movies. The key thing is to detect and use the sources, the links themselves that NSBX point to. Gradually, links are starting to appear online with 4k content, but they are few for now. I really hope you can manage to scrape some of them and add them to JaMovies in addition to NSBX. Keep in mind that having 4k online links is what will made JaMovies best addon in class. And the more sources it offers, the better.

Last time I checked Showbox I didn't find any 4k content. It's like a hundred other sites that offer Upcloud or similar links, that are up to 1080p.

I installed Cloudstream recently, as an alternative to Stremio. I found Cloudstream is a very good app, nothing less than Stremio, and even better in a couple of items. But the downside are the addons. 95% of them don't work. Even the ones that work are not reliable, as they don't always work, just sometimes. And they are not actively mantained nor updated. Superstream addon in fact has some 4K links, but they are really very few. It doesn't have even some new and popular movies. As far as I could see, NSBX is way more comprehensive, it has 4k links for almost any recent content and 1080p for all the rest.

I haven't heard about Flixclusive before, I will install it and check it out. Thanks for the tip.

Way backkk, someone made an add-on for Stremio using Showbox/Superstream, I'm pretty sure it has 4k links as I have used it before but unfortunately it's no longer maintained as well. I was wondering if it could be added to Jamovies since the content is similar imo.

Please, check this if you can: https://www.braflix.ru/ It's a platform based on web page which offers plenty of https online stream links for movies/series. On the player you can select the server (link) you are using. Name of the servers are similar to those on NSBX (Alpha, Beta, etc.). THE SERVER NAMED "CHARLIE" IS THE ONE WITH 4K CONTENT.

If you manage to add this server to JaMovies, it will be available through Stremio platform, which is way more better than using a web page.
