Hi @DocRobbins17, we can talk about setting up a private Set with Friends server for internal use by your organization (school district). This would require paying a small fee for initial development and maintenance. If interested, please contact me by email, and we can discuss contract terms with your district.
Can you tell me how much the small fee would be? I know the district won't cover it, so it would be out of my pocket, but it might be worth it because it makes them SO HAPPY.
Thanks for your quick response!

Glad to hear that your students enjoy using the site. I charge $80/hour for consulting.
Hello, again. I have been discussing this with our tech department, but we would need to know a ballpark figure of how much this would cost. I am not tech savvy, and have no idea how long something like this would take and don't want to waste your time or theirs if it isn't feasible. I wish there was a way to open it up so kids could not get on the website itself, but could join private games. If you have any ideas on how that could be done, I would be happy to try that, too. It may not be possible, though.
I have used this site with lots of success for one week with my students (who LOVED it, by the way) before our district blocked the site. They have blocked it because of the ability students have to navigate around and the fact that it is unsafe. My question: is there a way to create a kid friendly safe version where it would take students directly to a private game where the chat is also private and only those who are invited are in the game? Just a suggestion from those of us who really love the site, but need for it to be more secure for student use. Thanks!
