Problem after whitelisting search browsers #121

Whenever I whitelist a search engine such as google or duckduckgo, then go to a different site such as youtube or wikipedia, the little uBlock button in the safari toolbar shows the little symbol that appears when a site has been whitelisted. When I press on it, the power button symbol is gray, again, like when sites have been whitelisted. But I think uBlock is still working because it seems as though it is still blocking ads, but I am not really sure. I know this is not an issue with uBlock on other web browsers such as Chrome, because I have tested it. So it is only a problem with uBlock for Safari. It should be noted that this issue does not occur if I open up a site in a new tab. Only when I open up a new site in the same tab, after searching something up from the web browser that was whitelisted.

Steps for anyone to reproduce the issue

  1. Go to the start page of any search engine such as https://duckduckgo.com
  2. Whitelist the website
  3. In the search prompt, input and search anything you so desire (e.g. cats, dogs)
  4. Click on any of the links that lead to a site (a link that is not an ad)
  5. Look at and click on the uBlock button in the safari toolbar and you will see that it looks as though it is disabled/the site has been whitelisted.
