Safari - "Block Element" doesn't bring up the "Element picker" anymore. #96

Describe the issue

On Safari and on any URL, "Block Element" doesn't bring up the "Element picker" anymore.

Steps for anyone to reproduce the issue

Happens everywhere on any website. I right click on an advertisement or image, I then select the "Block Element" menu item, but the "Element picker" dialogue box doesn't appear at all. I noticed this a few days ago.

Your settings

MacOS version: High Sierra, v. 10.13.3 (17D47)
Safari version: Version 11.0.3 (13604.5.6)
uBlock Origin version: uBlock Origin v1.14.24

Do you have the 1.14.24 hotfix?

@lukeify I don't have the hotfix, thanks for pointing out. However when I try to install it, I get a popup with an error:

"Safari can’t install this extension An error occurred while installing the extension “uBlock Origin”."

I had the same issue @oricoh. Just backup your settings, remove uBlock from Safari and then reinstall the extensions again.

The version on the extension gallery doesn't have the hotfix, but I'm submitting an update to fix that!

For some reason I've got the same problem among uBlock missing a lot of stuff, for instance youtube and gmail ads. However I've got the newest version of uBlock. Will look into some stuff and if I can't fix it I'll post an issue.
