Dup #103
This is not the same. I get this error now:
You are running Home Assistant version '2023.12.4', but this repository requires minimum version '2024.1.0b0' to be installed.
Please read before closing an issue..
Please provide details when you are reporting an issue, i will read it and not think you meant for something different, as you have done in the second post, This is not an error, next release is to support breaking change introduced in next version, therefore, it will be accessible for download only after you will upgrade.
btw, it is written in the release note, support HA v2024.1.0 beta and above
This are all the details I've got.
I keep getting notifications of an update for the integration, but I cannot upgrade because 2024.1 isn't out yet of Home Assistant.
As one developer to another: Never release something that needs an beta version of something else, is the tip I want to give you.
I am sure I'm not the only person having this issue, probably the only one that takes the time and effort to report this. Please try and fix this in a minor patch and test next time you release
I released it for users using beta versions of HA, And mainly because i didn't want users of all my integrations tohave issues with integrations the day it will be officialy released, I understand it is not trivial but that's the way HA development is working, and i think that's the reason HACS is supporting that feature to protect incompatibility, If it asks you to install it although you are not in beta, it's abug that should be reported in HACS repo, I agree it is not the right behavior, for me it is not suggesting that version (and all other users following feedbacks i got)
That's the main reason i suspected the issue is that you are already in beta and it's not working
Since Home Assistant 2024.1.0 isnt out yet I can't update the integration, but I keep getting the notification there is an update available.. Please fix this
