Make text block editor more user friendly by adding buttons to do formatting #446

Hi,

during testing, we noticed that the editor only offers limited possibilities. More options would be useful for the editor, e.g.: italic or bold font. Changing the font size would also be desirable.

There are actually formatting options, but it's hidden. Those texts support markdown, so you can write something like:

This is **bold**, and this is *italic*.

However, changing the font size is not planned. Could you tell us what use case you have for changing the font size?

Oh and we do intend to show graphical elements for bold/italic font at some point. But it's rather low priority right now.

Hi, thank you for your reply! We have already discovered that changes can be made via Markdown. It would be easier for some users if they could do it directly via the editor.
Changing the font size would be helpful to better structure pages with subheadings. Best regards, Maria Dorfer-Frick
