opentracing is deprecated #1305

opentracing is deprecated and opentelemetry seems to replace it. Please update that dependency which will also solve es modules warning. https://github.com/opentracing/opentracing-javascript https://github.com/open-telemetry/opentelemetry-js

We have this on our radar. A "replacement" for opentracing is still not prioritized, thanks for asking about this, we will consider it when redefining team priorities.
