Filebeat Output Hosts Autodiscovery #19028

Hi,

Is there an upcoming feature for autodiscovery of the filebeat output hosts?

For example, the logstash and kafka hosts field requires a list of hosts as a value. Ideally filebeat should be able to resolve an A record to the list of IP addresses, and it would need to actively send dns queries to update this list.

The same question applies to the logstash output plugin which requires a list of elasticearch hosts.
