[Heartbeat] Kubernetes Autodiscovery Memory Leak #31115

Closed Protopopys closed 2 months ago

Protopopys commented 2 years ago

Hello

Heartbeat 8.1.0 has a memory leak with enabled Kubernetes autodiscovery and Openshift kills the container on memory limit reached.

We have the issue on all Openshift nodes. 1 2 The container restarts when the memory limit is reached. This behavior is not like a garbage collector. Unfortunately, this is not visible in the graph provided.

For confirmed bugs, please report:

Hi! We just realized that we haven't looked into this issue in a while. We're sorry!

We're labeling this issue as Stale to make it hit our filters and make sure we get back to it as soon as possible. In the meantime, it'd be extremely helpful if you could take a look at it as well and confirm its relevance. A simple comment with a nice emoji will be enough :+1. Thank you for your contribution!
