As of today only Logstash has a filter plugin to bring XML into our wished JSON structure (https://www.elastic.co/guide/en/logstash/current/plugins-filters-xml.html). This leads to situations, where you only need Logstash to get this task done as there is no other good way to get this done.

It would be great to have a xml processor to achieve this and let Logstash out of the whole architecture.
