Issue while starting Kibana UI framework #11492

Hi Team, I have facing issue while starting the Kibana UI framework in my server(Linux). Can you guys give me steps to start Kibana UI framework?

Hi SnchitGrover,

Here is error logs:

kibana@6.0.0-alpha1 uiFramework:start /home/risheekesh/Downloads/kibana-master grunt uiFramework:start

fatal: Not a git repository (or any of the parent directories): .git Loading "Gruntfile.js" tasks...ERROR

Error: Command failed: git rev-parse HEAD fatal: Not a git repository (or any of the parent directories): .git Warning: Task "uiFramework:start" not found. Use --force to continue.

Aborted due to warnings.

Is this still occurring? Have you tried cloning the repo (instead of downloading it)? I'm going to close this issue for now, since this doesn't seem to be a problem with the repo itself, but we can continue discussion here to try to solve your problem.
