[Fleet] Integration Update Bug #149361

Open jamiehynds opened 1 year ago

jamiehynds commented 1 year ago

Two users have reported a bug whereby integrations are failing to update with the following error.

As seen here, the integration is assigned to 19 agents, not 0.

This is happening across all integrations, not limited to the Windows integration.

@nicpenning originally reported the issue on our Community Slack: https://elasticstack.slack.com/archives/C02J2JBS0FP/p1673985196991059

Thanks for filing!

integrations are failing to update

@nicpenning Are the integrations actually failing to upgrade or is it just an issue with the number of agents reported in the modal?

elasticmachine commented 1 year ago

Pinging @elastic/fleet (Team:Fleet)

nicpenning commented 1 year ago

Just showing the incorrect number in the modal, Upgrades work just fine (most of the time).

We've encountered the same issue in our production (Elastic-Stack 8.6.1)

In Short: Some Integrations are not tracked as Installed and therefore not visible under "All installed" or for them that would have Updates under "Updates available". However, the Integrations are assigned to integration policies and can be updated if selected from the agent integration policy. image
