[Lens] Improve user experience for color palette number mode #151275

Describe the feature:

When using the color palette number mode the formatting can lead to confusion when tweaking the color stops. As a user I see the metric visualization adopting the configured the formatter, but then color stops are configured using raw values.

It could be helpful to adopt the formatter somehow to help the user define correctly the stops.
