Include the filters applied in the generated PDF report #17605

Hi,

Can we include the filters applied to the dashboard when generating a PDF document?

Say for example, I have this filter (screen cap) image image

I would like the filter age: 61 to 70 to appear on the report. This provides more meaningful context on what the report is beneficial for business users.

Hello, I would like also the "command line" filter to be in the report. Actually, in my case this kind of report is used for archiving and currently it is pointless as you don't get the whole set of filters that you have applied to get the report. This makes the reporting feature not applicable for many use cases (corporate reporting, regulatory reporting....).

I'm switching the team ownership of this bug to the Kibana App team, as that team would need to drive an enhancement in the Dashboard app to make that an option for PDF/PNG export of the dashboard. Reporting team will work side-by-side with the App team to get this into a solution, if it is accepted to work on.

This one really just wants the details of the report in a one-liner/footer, not the actual filter view. They want for PDF.

Ideal end state may be a setting: ability to toggle on/off whether the filter UI or the footer is included

I'm wondering if we can discuss possibilities to find an easy way to do it. I think it may be a good candidate for our Usability track if it was an small task.
