✔️ Acceptance criteria

1. Must Have

Must be delivered in this issue in order for the release to be valuable

Name Description
Multi-signal Service Views must be marked as technical preview -
Users should be able to 'try' the multi-signal version with a single click -
Users must be able to revert to the previous experience via the views themselves e.g. turn it off
The feedback form must pass through an identifier which to tell us they're using multi-signal views e.g. https://ela.st/services-feedback should be updated to pass this through
There must be clear guidance on how to ensure logs-only service can be declared and how it works i.e. declare service.name in logs. We'll need to link to some documentation on this

2. Should Have

Should be delivered in this issue in order for the release to be valuable

Name Description
Logs-only 'service map' view will be a splash page to promote APM onboarding This page will promote existing onboarding journey for APM

3. Could Have

Could be delivered in this issue in order for the release to be valuable

Name Description
- -

4. Will Not Have (for now)

Explicitly will not be looked at within this issue

Name Description
No 'infrastructure' tab -
We won't combine logs-only log data in the existing APM service views yet There is no 'merged' design which shows both sets of data - once you upgrade a service to add APM - the view won't show log rate or log error %
