Some UI flows help users to migrate applications instrumented with APM agents that send data to an ESS deployment to newly created Serverless projects. However, the onboarding experience for this use case could be improved.
I think that currently this is achieved in two ways:
By following the APM onboarding flow in Serverless which is probably the recommended way. An API key can be created from there and the MIS URL is displayed but other steps are not needed on the page, such as instructions to install the APM agents.
By creating an API key through Stack Management and getting the APM endpoint from the project management page in the cloud UI. This is a more fragmented experience and also requires knowledge about the privileges required and where to find the relevant pages
