Please allow coloring of boolean fields in saved searches. #195861

I was surprised to find out it's not possible to color boolean fields in Kibana saved searches.

It would be great to be able set true and or false to a custom color.

Hi @willem-dhaese,

Thanks for writing to us! Yes, makes sense to add it.

As a workaround for now, there is an option to create a runtime field with keyword or number type and map boolean values to it in a custom script. After that you could use the created runtime field with color formatter and add it as a column to your searches.
