Pinging @elastic/kibana-app (Team:KibanaApp)
This is not the first request to do this, so I'm going to close this as a duplicate.
To work around this, change your time interval setting in TSVB to be equal to frequency at which data is sent to Elasticsearch.
There are a few related issues with more discussion that adds context to this. The most general request is to allow users to select fitting functions in visualizations, but this does not include TSVB. The TSVB-specific issue has been closed for reasons described in the TSVB fitting function issue.
Eventually what worked for me was setting the date histogram interval to " >=5m", because I have data points each 5 minutes

Describe the bug: I'm not sure if that it's an issue with data or TSVB, but is there a way to make the line chart, to draw a line, even if it's a short period? when I choose a time range- greater than 5 hours, I see a line connecting the data points. else I see points only
Steps to reproduce:
Expected behavior: to connect points with a line,
