I had a quick look but it is not as easy as you seem to imply. :-) Indeed the files are clear form, but the filenames are not in the .DAT files, only some sort of hash plus some directory and extensions but no visible way to link them to the file entries. Well I could add support for F22 files but with no clue on the filename to give to the entries, which do not seem very useful.
If you know more of this file format can you give me some clues on how to find the filenames? Are there other files in the games directory along with the .DAT one?
I tried to find a demo of the game but there was none...

Partial support was added in last release (2.05 of the driver). Lacks: RA decompression (should be feasible) and filenames

Re-opened because it still lacks RA decompression. Will be closed when coded.

very good sims from '97 and '98, made by Digital Image Design. few sims come close in terms of gameplay/realism balance.
both games use the same filesys, apparently an uncompressed pileup of game files.
this should be easy.
