  1. Valify V2 Robot Lawnmower. Important note "I found the RTK technology was very interesting. But a bottle neck existed, the GPS signal needed to be quite strong to receive centimeter accuracy (would not work well with trees and other items that cover the satellite reception)."
  2. The Mower Project - some good info on u-Blox ZED-F9P. Doesn't look promising to use RTK GPS when you have trees or near the house.
  3. Deep robots

Ardumower has a complete DIY for a mower body. Also has a design for a bump sensor. Might be a better starting point than modifying a commercial mower.

It’s easier to convert your Ubuntu box to VMware virtual machine and then I can import that to VirtualBox.

It took you a long time to setup everything including debugging remotely, it would take me a long time as well and would prefer not go through that.
