the last day of the month figures are dependant on exactly what day and time awstats is run. If it ain't exactly 24:00 on last day of month then of course the figures will look odd. However, when the next run of awstats take place a day or month after previous run, then the last day of previous month should be corrected automatically. So in short there is no problem. It is the timing of your awstats run that causes the perceived problem. If you run your monthly run after 24:00, i.e. on 1st of each month then there should be no perceived problem. This assumes you have left your previous months stats file where it should be so that it can be added to if there are some records for previous month in following months log file.
And if you have set the following option in your awstats conf file, then you can manually run awstats to correct the the last day providing you run it on or after the 1st day of following month.
