Electra Wallet fails to start daemon after install v1.0.8 window 8.1 #128

I just downloaded and installed the windows electra wallet version 1.0.8 from the electra project site. Directly following the install the following error is shown while attempting to start the daemon: image

And after clicking OK I'm getting the following: image

Here's some of my system information: image

Any ideas whats going on here?

The machine this was being installed on had the old electra-qt wallet which hasn't been able to start for months (literally just one day it died). I was successful installing the wallet on a newer computer (win10).

Closing as I was able to get it running on the newer win10 machine.

EDIT: Also looks like I posted too soon, just found the FAQs in the wiki :+1:
