Added a small test and bumped the minor version. Would like to have this available in rubygems 😄

I like this, but the version should be 1.2.2 for this update. If you can update that and pull/merge master I will merge this PR. Thank you.

@tapickell thanks for the feedback, I though that the versioning for this project was semantic versioning, hence why I bumped the minor version.

I'll fix the merge conflict and bump it to 1.2.2.
