Tesla integration: Battery now flat #412

Installed this a few days ago and have not used the car since. Go to check the car today and it’s totally flat.

I have no off street parking and no way to charge at home.

I’m assuming this app integration has excessive data polling usage with no limits. Uninstalling!

Hi @tomkiss ,

Very sorry to hear that. Our app interfaces with https://beta.teslacockpit.com/ who does the polling. I suggest you raise the issue with them as there's nothing we can do on our end.

Thanks, will do :)

Just to add, I don't think it was clear during the installation process that teslacockpit was the provider? Unless I'm mistaken.

I remember being a bit confused when I got an email from my own car, immediately afterwards, I just assumed it was part of the app but it's really unclear as there is no link or clear reference to the teslacockpit being a separate service.

Maybe I'm forgetting the process - but perhaps it could be in big bold messaging to make sure - if I'd have realised I expect I would have gone to their website to see what configuration options there are.

Heres the emails just incase they are useful (my vehicle is called stormbreaker).
