Windows Store Guide Container Virtualization functionality and instructions are out of date #106

I have been attempting to follow the instructions in the section "Convert with Container Virtualization" of the README.

These instructions direct me to download files DesktopAppConverter.zip and BaseImage-14316.wim from https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/uwp/porting/desktop-to-uwp-run-desktop-app-converter.

Looking at the linked site, there appears to be no option to download a ZIP file (I have located a base image at a different URL). Instead, I am offered a "Desktop App Converter" Windows Store App. Having installed this, it would also appear that there is no longer a DesktopAppConverter.ps1 script that can be used in conjunction with the electron-windows-store tool.

Hm, that mildly sucks. On the plus side, ever since this tool leaned how to create AppX packages for Electron apps without using the converter at all, it might be useful to cut the converter option out.

Thanks for the response. I am interested in this option specifically to take advantage Container Virtualisation option, so are you suggesting that there is another way to achieve that without the DAC? In any case, I will spend some more time to try and see what can be done with the new DAC, will let you know if I find anything useful.

Sorry, I did not solve the problem. In the end, I discovered that I'd misunderstood the actual purpose of the feature anyway, so I did not pursue it further.
