@trymeouteh This is a very wild guess but maybe Neochat can be run on a Linux phone. There's some talk about it here
There are linux mobile clients such as Fluffychat for example. However Element has the best client for Matrix including their Android and iOS client and I made this suggestion since a Linux mobile Element client would be amazing and make many in the linux world very happy since Linux phones are just beginning and to have a high end, open source communication client that will use Matrix which is the next big thing in communication would be big. I do think Matrix will make phone calls and SMS messages obsolete this decade and it would suck to leave the privacy minded linux mobile users behind.
@trymeouteh I definitely agree. It would be awesome to have Element on Linux mobile. I just don't know if the dev team has enough resources to do this. I also don't have any experience with developing Linux mobile, so I can't say how difficult would this be.
what about compatibility layer flatpak > java > android runtime > element
for phosh i recommend fractal or https://github.com/diamondburned/gotktrix actually gotktrix dev want add voip support
and if you can't wait for resolution
install waydroid something like wine but for emulating android https://waydro.id/

Voice calls are working only if both phones are connected to the same wifi ....
Linux mobile such as Ubuntu Touch, Pinephone and Librem 5 are not popular, but so is desktop Linux. It would be incredible to see a Element client for Linux mobile that was similar to the Android client. This can allow Linux phone user to not miss out on using Element on their phones. Element is the best Matrix client on desktop and mobile.
