send message fail #3237

Describe the bug

cant send a message!

To Reproduce

  1. new android phone
  2. install element from f-droid
  3. open up element and login, wait for sync, backup keys
  4. open a room, write something, press enter or send button not doing anything

Expected behavior

send a message

Strange, do you have the possibility to try with another device?

indeed very strange, updated to android 8.1 and now it works!
