Video Call Garbled with HD Video #3848

Describe the bug

When calling between Element Web and Android (either party initiates call), the video from the Android device appears garbled on Element Web. This can be fixed by selecting Turn HD off on Android.

To Reproduce

Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  1. Initiate call between Element Android & Web
  2. Video is garbled
  3. Select Turn HD off on Android to clear up video

Expected behavior

Video should be clear

lanerussell commented 3 years ago

Issue was initially opened testing with Element Web 1.8.0 on the other side. This issue persists with Web 1.8.1.
