Live Location Update Interval Setting #6942

Your use case

What would you like to do?

A setting for users to choose how often they would like to report their location during a live share. Currently its hardcoded for 5 seconds.

Why would you like to do it?

Users have different reporting needs. Our use case is that users need high fidelity / rapid location reporting during search and rescue applications. 5 seconds could mean all the difference when trying to coordinate and allocate resources geospatially through this map.

How would you like to achieve it?

Implement a settings panel specifically for the map, where we can begin to add map/location specific settings to the application.

I just stumbled across the same issue, as I was "miles" away from somebody sharing location due to refresh rate being too long. Adding the ability to adjust refresh rates would be brilliant.

Same here. This should be configurable (at least High/Low Interval)
