Careful, build time is announced to be a bit longer.

I can confirm it is, in a previous project we used to have ~10-20s of build script build times. It can be improved in some ways:

You can create plugins instead of build scripts and using pre-built versions of these plugins so you don't have to re-build most of your build scripts for every gradle job.
Enable gradle configuration cache so we only need to re-build them when changes to their sources are detected.
