I absolutely agree. This was tolerable initially, but now it occurs every single day. I record a 2-min voice message explaining something, send it, only for it to disappear in thin air. “Oh, here we go again, I can start over”. Seriously, this has got to be one of the worst bugs I've encountered in Element so far.
I was in-fact just going to report this exact issue myself. I am not happy that more people experience this bug, but hopefully it will get more attention now.
Just wanted to see if there is an update on this. This has become increasingly frustrating. I lost 4 messages in the last 24 hours because of this. Would be really grateful if this issue can be prioritized as it seems to significantly affect the functionality of the Android app.

Yes! Since this post was made I must have lost over 50 voice messages like this.
Please prioritize this. This is a very serious bug affecting anyone who actively uses voice messages!
