No connectivity on Wayland #861

Steps to reproduce

  1. Install element-desktop on arch for X11
  2. Login to element-desktop on X11
  3. Change to wayland

Outcome

What did you expect?

I expected connectivity to be the same between wayland and X11.

What happened instead?

On Wayland, the desktop app was unable to connect to matrix servers, giving a connectivity error.

Additional Information

After running env -u element-desktop and logging in, I was able to run in XWayland fine (but had to re-verify the device). After running this, element worked as normal in wayland.

Element version: 1.10.13 Olm version: 3.2.8

From pacman, arch official repositories

Probably the exact same here, it worked fine until I logged in X11 once.

env -u element-desktop didn't work here. I logged back in X11, verified 1 other device I used as fallback (cinny), logged back in into wayfire and atm element-desktop connects fine.
