The warning appears to be invalid anyway, as I am allowed to add and remove integrations from the room.

Check the console when this happens, it should log the reason why.

I'm guessing this might be due to the check for whether you can unset power levels -- Since by default you need admin to change m.room.power_levels, it's possible to be able to kick a bot but not clean up its power level.
