Which device (and iOS version) are you using? I can't reproduce this on an iPhone X or an iPad Pro 10.5.
I'm testing with an Etherpad with just over 50 lines, do I need more?
Let me check - I am reporting this for some Chinese people, not for myself.

One person answered: she has an iPhone 8. See also the attachment. No truly long pads are required - just enough to not fit on the screen.

When viewing a large Etherpad, the bottom ten or so lines are invisible - they fall outside the screen.
