incoming calls/ videocalls generating notification/ message instead of ringing iPhone #7665

  1. Where are you starting? What can you see? incoming calls/ videocalls

What did you expect?

ringing iPhone

What happened instead?

incoming calls/ videocalls only generating push notifications/ messages instead of ringing iPhone when:

only when element app is open on screen, the phone rings regulary

iPhone 11 / iPhone XR / iPhone 8

Operating system version

iOS 16.6

Application version

Element Version 1.11.1

Homeserver

Synapse Home Server 1.91.2

Have you been able to solve this @chriswegit ? In addition to this issue, I am also getting notifications with no details for message, etc.

I can see the issue was moved to Triaged, but any update or a time estimate for it? This is the only setback preventing us from deploying our Synapse + Element, and it's been a while

@chriswegit @Melgenel @Malsayed90 I'm receiving 5 empty notifications along with the ringing for calls. What could I be missing? Why am I getting extra notifications 5 times? Your assistance would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!
