Give the user a button to click on to learn more about enabling e2ee in an unencrypted room #1239

Seems like a very good idea to me - perhaps a fairly basic tooltip with a link to a more detail explanation?

This icon doesn't exist anymore - adapting this issue to be more "discover how to turn on e2e in the first place"

There is a link to the settings at the beginning of history in the room where the admin can enable encryption. The only info you get is "Once enabled, encryption cannot be disabled.". I wouldn't consider this as a button where a user really can learn about enabling e2ee in general, let alone a detailed explanation like has been suggested in the (linked) issue

I think this would be covered by the things you're working on?

Please move this issue to the right board so that we don't lose track of it, or go ahead and close it tagging the issue you're working towards in it's place :)

I think it will be part of the room decoration work we're planning later this year, but not sure. @pmaier1 ?
