Unable to share meeting link for Video Rooms #1405

Your use case

What would you like to do?

Share the meeting link of a Video Room for non-Element users to join the conference.

Why would you like to do it?

Because not everyone uses Element-based chat apps

How would you like to achieve it?

A shareable one-time link in the Video Room would be pretty practical, but a link similar to matrix.to that allows you to join the meeting right away like when you share an Element Call link would be the most practical, even if it's an Opt-in feature

Have you considered any alternatives?

A workaround would be instead of using actual video rooms make a read-only room with a Jitsi/ElementCall meeting link, but it's hacky and certainly not the be the best

Hey guys, I think I know, but I want to be sure: What does Issue triage mean exactly? Does it mean this issue will never be considered/implemented? Basically I am in search for a Microsoft Teams alternative for my company and Element would be great for that esepacially since the VoIP/Videorooms are now getting lots of attention which I very much appreciate! I want to be able to share a onetime Link for external clients, so that they do not need to create an account and can just join with the browser.
